Five Nights at Freddy's Wiki

Hi there, maybe you remember me, in which case I am honored, or maybe you don't, in which case you don't have to read what I'm about to tell you.

When I first made this account, I wanted to bring the FNAF wiki together, I wanted to show everyone that we're here to have fun, not to insult or mock other people based on their beliefs regarding FNAF.

I revealed that I already had an account on the wiki and that I was regulary posting. Perhaps because I made this account at a time where this whole "Hehe I just made an alt, guess who I am!"  game was popular, some people tried to uncover my identity, but I told them that it was not the point of this alt, and I tried as best as I could to hide my identity.

I used this account a few times, basically, everytime I thought the different factions (eg: 83/87) were becoming more distant. And each time, I had a lot of people agreeing with me and supporting the message I was trying to convey.

However, about a year ago, something pretty funny happened, I was featured in Matpat's video, this one:

https://youtu.be/ontP8FzeOuw?t=2m47s

(I set the link at the right time)

And it led some people to believe that I was Matpat. (And it also led people to hate me because I was featured with 30 edits while nobody else got the chance to be in one of his videos ^^)

Now that Matpat is in the spotlight (yet again), I thought it was the right time to make it clear; I'm not Matpat.

I love him, and I am subscribed to him, but I'm not him!

And to be honest with you, I would've much preferred if my main account had been featured in one of his videos, so you're not the only one suffering here :'(

But with Scott confirming (yet again) he got a lot of things right in his last video, ending the Miketrap/Willtrap debate and ending the 83/87 debate, I think we can definitely say that Matpat did a much better job at reuniting the community than I did, and I believe we should be thankful to him.

Matpat has received a lot of hate over these past 3,5 years. People saying he was an idiot, people saying his subscribers were idiots, but he never stopped making videos. And thanks to him, we got Scott reveal he had almost everything right in FNAF 2, and we got Scott make three teasers to help us with FNAF 4, and now, we got him confirm that the Bite of 83 is correct and that Miketrap is incorrect.

Even Dawko, which is much closer to Scott, perhaps the closest FNAF fan to Scott, never got him to do something like this.

I will not give him 100% of the credit here, after all, pretty much everything he said has been said on our good old wiki already, and thanks to vernanonix's e-mail, we know Scott goes to our wiki, however, there is a lot of work and research behind each of his videos, and I really don't want anybody to deny his love for FNAF or his work.

Scott said shortly after SL came out that he wasn't done with the FNAF franchise. What we must do now is clear, it's to look forward to what Scott is preparing, and to continue to debate about what hasn't been answered!

Thank you for reading. I will probably never use this alt anymore, as the most controversial questions were answered, but I will stay on the wiki with my main account and I will answer to the people in the comments.

If I ever need to use The_Neutral_Dude again, I definitely will!
