This sure is quality, ain't it?
Okay, no it ain't.
Someone's gotta do it, right?
You know, it all started back when I was a wee small boy. My father always thought I was a failure. He always told me that people were going to roll over me. My mother wasn't much different either, always putting her fingers like an L on her forehead. All my friends, behind my back would say "He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, is he?" I got depressed, and I just lived my life, walking the streets, following the rules. Never did anything out of line.
Then, one day, it all changed. A man came out of an alley way, and asked what was wrong. I told him everything, and he comforted me, and told me the one thing I will never forget- What's wrong with taking the back streets?
So I ran away from home. Never looked back. And you know what? It worked.
Now, as an adult, I felt so much happier, I just needed to sing.
Somebody once told me the world was gonna roll me
I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed
She was lookin' kinda dumb with her finger and her thumb
In the shape of an L on her forehead...
