Sister Location: Baby

So I noticed that during the first night when you have to shock all the animatronics that you don't see baby. How come Hand Unit can see her, but we can't? Was this something that was supposed to be a hint? I mean when we do come back the second night, you hear her voice that gives you instructions about hiding under the control panel in the control room where she's supposed to be. Can someone clear things up for me? Thanks. xox
