You say there's two suits, but which Springtrap is which in your theory? Is William the Fnaf 3 failure victim or is Michael the one? If William is, when and how did Michael get Springtrapped or if it's the other way around, when and how did William get Springtrapped?
In my theory, there are two Springtraps, but they're not necessarily two STs per se... more like, one is Springtrap and one is Springbonnie. You remember the idea that there are indeed two Springbonnies in the entire establishment chain of Fredbear's? One you see in Stage01, and then the one you see in the FNAF 4 Fredbear's. Evidence being some differences such a different head appearance, different color tone, purple bowtie instead of none at all, etc.
My theory states that in accordance to Michael Afton's supernaturally slowed voice at the end of his speech (The end, not during), it appears that he is indeed inside a robot. Not vice versa-- the Funtimes do indeed have a clear voice, so that's not a good explanation. Meanwhile, the explanation that he IS inside a Springsuit is very credible-- considering the amount of Springbonnies there are. We know the one in FNAF 6 is William Afton-- there's absolutely no denying that. But as for the FNAF 3 Springtrap, whom bears many, many differences from his confirmed-to-be-a-murderer counterpart, he could be possessed by a completely different person.
Prolly doesn't make sense to you huh
We could also say that William Afton is the SL protagonist, since that kind of erases the issues revolving around Michael using a suit that advanced this theory, but that's JUUUUST UNTHINKABLEEEEE

"If they're Afton's animatronics, then why don't they look like this?" Clay pointed to a poster on the wall depicting a shiny and smooth Freddy, with rosy red blush cheeks. "Or this?" He gestured to another picture of Bonnie, strumming a red guitar that looked like it was made of Candy.
(Note: Not a cited quote, but it's something like that)
