...remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power.
Phone Guy, Five Nights at Freddy's

The Power Indicator, also known as the Battery, is a vital object of the Five Nights at Freddy's series.

Physical Description[]

The Power Indicator displays two variables: the first being how much power remains, while the second being how much is being consumed. The player will start each night with 99% power, which will drain over time. However, having a Door closed, using the Monitor or turning the Hall Lights on will increase the usage meter - the higher the meter is, the faster power drains. If power reaches 0%, all of the player's security devices will be deactivated and Freddy Fazbear will appear on the left hall with his face glowing on and off while his jingle[1] is playing. Afterwards, the room becomes pitch black leaving the player vulnerable to Freddy's attack.
