Discussions are not that bad guys

They are practically the same, but with minor updates

We can take this slowly but it's better to get used to this now as it will inevitably be replacing the discussion board. I realise this all sounds quite intimidating but I can assure you myself and the others will do everything we can to make this a safe environment for discussion.
I just hope I can keep track of the discussions here. This feels a lot more like Amino
A fair comparison

I have one question about discussions though. WHY CAN'T WE HAVE BOTH DISCUSSIONS AND THREADS??? It's a bit confusing.
They’re functionally the same, just with a different layout.
It's not up to us, FANDOM itself has requested that we update to this new format. So to answer your question no we cannot have both.
Ok, I have a problem.
I largely use notifications to see which threads have been updated, and keep track of what conversations I'm in.
But now Discussions are giving me multiple notifications.. for the same threat.
It's very distracting, and make this medium a much less efficient type of communication.
Ah yes, that would most likely be someone liking your comment if a comment hasn't been added. It is quite distracting but manageable I assure you.
So what are the limits to discussions, anyway?
I notice it only shows a small window at once, and you have to scroll up to see earlier replies.
Is there a text size limit to what you can post in here? Could I drop a whole script, or would I have to PDF it and send a link instead?
Post limits are a thing of the past my friend and although there does seem to be a word limit on the OP (I don't know, still testing that) you should be able to do either or though I'd recommend PDF links for the sake of simplicity.
